2011EWBC即将在意大利举行（原）

WBC2011将于10月14日至16日在意大利伦巴第大区布雷西亚省著名起泡葡萄酒产区Franciacorta举行。

Franciacorta介绍：如今Franciacorta不仅是该地区的名字，也是酒标的名字，更是特别起泡葡萄酒酿制方法的名字。Franciacorta现在已成为意大利最高级别的DOCG产区。

自2003年起，Franciacorta成为意大利唯一可以不将产区名称贴在酒瓶上的葡萄酒品牌。就像香槟酒也不用AOC字样一样，Franciacorta一词就是质量和原产地的保证。

Franciacorta以往生产的葡萄酒大部分是红葡萄酒，已经存在了几个世纪，直到20世纪60年代该地的起泡酒才被制造出来。1967年通过意大利DOC标准认证，到1991年通过了更加严格的DOCG认证。其起泡酒使用香槟法，这与意大利的另一种起泡酒Prosecco有着明显的不同。该地区的主要葡萄品种也是三个，包括霞多丽和黑比诺，但意大利人用白比诺替代了法国人的Pinot meunier。

2011年葡萄酒博客大奖赛网上公众投票工作已展开，投票时间为期一周：6月21号至6月27号。

本届大奖赛共设奖项八类，每一类候选博客名单已经确定，除其中两类候选博客为六个以外，其余六类均为五个。

本届葡萄酒博客大奖赛结果揭晓时间为2011年7月23日，即在当日开幕的2011年北美葡萄酒Bloggers大会上宣布。

每一位入选候选博客名单的葡萄酒博客将获徽章一枚。
