奥地利人当选葡萄酒大师学院理事会主席（原）

奥地利籍葡萄酒大师（MW）Josef (Pepi) Schuller博士（图片左）近日当选新一届英国葡萄酒大师学院（IMW）理事会主席，任期两年，这是葡萄酒大师学院在其五十五年历史上首次选举非英国人担任该职务。

Josef (Pepi) Schuller博士是奥地利葡萄酒研究院的院长，该学院主要为奥地利。德国、意大利以及瑞士等国提供葡萄酒教育。

英国籍葡萄酒大师、独立的葡萄酒咨询顾问Lynne Sherriff当选为葡萄酒大师学院理事会副主席，其他两位理事会成员分别是来自爱尔兰的葡萄酒教育家、葡萄酒大师Dermot Nolan以及来自英国的葡萄酒与食品作家、葡萄酒大师（自由职业者）Sarah Jane。

英国葡萄酒大师学院成立于1953年，目前共有278位葡萄酒大师，分布于全世界23个国家。

2008路易·王妃国际葡萄酒作家奖（Louis Roederer International Wine Writers' Awards）近日揭晓，《Decanter》杂志撰稿人、葡萄酒作家Tom Stevenson和Andrew Jefford分获“路易·王妃香槟奖”（Champagne Louis Roederer Award）及“年度国际葡萄酒专题作家奖”（International Wine Feature Writer of the Year），Will Lyons获“年度英国地区葡萄酒作家奖”（the UK Regional Wine Writer of the Year Award），Tom Cannavan（上图，知名葡萄酒网站wine-pages创办人）获“年度国际在线葡萄酒作家奖”（International Online Writer of the Year），《Decanter》杂志撰稿人Anthony Rose获“年度国际葡萄酒专栏作家奖”（International Wine Columnist of the Year Award），Charles Metcalfe夫妇获“年度国际葡萄酒图书奖”（International Wine Book of the Year）。

美国葡萄酒博客人将举行“最佳品酒师”竞赛（原）

由OpenWine Consortium主办的首届美国葡萄酒博客人讨论会将于10月24日至26日在加州索诺玛举行。

近日传出消息，在首届美国葡萄酒博客人讨论会举行期间，将举办“最佳品酒师”盲品竞赛，整个比赛过程将由美国烹饪协会进行监督。

届时给参赛的葡萄酒博客人摆放上一系列只知道颜色的葡萄酒，然后由他们鉴别出酒的品种、年份以及产地，并说出与瓶中描述的葡萄酒相配的葡萄酒。获胜者将赢得“最佳品酒师”桂冠。

首届欧洲葡萄酒博客人大会昨夜召开（原）

第一届欧洲葡萄酒博客人（Wineblogger)大会8月29日晚12时许（当地时间下午6点左右）在西班牙里奥哈举行，参加会议的葡萄酒业内人士有40多人，分别来自世界十几个国家，此外还有许多媒体人员应邀出席了会议。中国葡萄酒博客人无一人参加会议。

由于时差的原因，直到夜里12点我才从会议开设的网站上看到本届会议的直播内容，通过LiveBlog，我与这次会议的组织人、英国葡萄酒博客人罗伯特进行了交流，罗伯特希望在下一届会议上有中国葡萄酒博客人参加。

当天下午的大会内容主要是会议组织者向到会人员致欢迎词，并举行了一个品酒会，共有40余款世界各地的葡萄酒供来宾们品尝，其中还有盲品内容。

首届欧洲葡萄酒博客人大会今日将在西班牙里奥哈（当地时间中午12时）举行，为了配合这次大会的举办，OpenWineconsortium网站特地在其网站首页导航栏上增加了聊天和即时信息功能，点击聊天后便可以与登录在线的会员进行聊天交流。

对首届欧洲葡萄酒博客人大会感兴趣的国内葡萄酒人士以及葡萄酒爱好者可以登录到OpenWineconsortium网站，与国外葡萄酒同行就有关葡萄酒方面的问题进行交流。

另外据悉，首届美国葡萄酒博客人大会目前已得到20多家公司、团体以及葡萄酒厂的赞助。第一届美国葡萄酒博客人大会将于10月24日至26日在加州索诺玛火烈鸟度假胜地举行。

虚构餐馆获《葡萄酒观察家》颁发的“杰出餐馆奖”（原）

近日爆出一条与《葡萄酒观察家》杂志有关的“丑闻”，该杂志将2008“杰出餐馆奖”颁发给了一家虚构的餐馆，此事一经曝光便引起业内人士的高度关注，并对《葡萄酒观察家》的做法予以谴责和批评。

葡萄酒作家、图书《The Wine Trials》一书的作者Robin Goldstein是这一虚假餐馆的编造者。他之所以要这样做目的就是为了证明他长期的相信是正确的，即许多美食与葡萄酒奖的颁发不是基于十分严格的研究，它们中的多数只是成为举办这些评奖活动出版商的财源。

Robin Goldstein虚构的这家餐馆名字叫Osteria L'Interpido，地址在意大利米兰，此外，他还专门为该餐馆开办了一家网站，并公布了一份餐馆为顾客服务提供的酒单，酒单所列的256款葡萄酒中有一部分来自《葡萄酒观察家》杂志评价的葡萄酒，评定的分数很低。

Robin Goldstein把这份酒单寄给了《葡萄酒观察家》杂志社，而且支付了250美元的竞赛费用。后来他就收到了一个电子邮件，告知他的餐馆赢得了大奖。

据说，在2008年里约有4500家餐馆参加了《葡萄酒观察家》举办的竞赛，每家餐馆向杂志社支付了250美元的参赛费，这样该杂志共收入了100万美元，约有三分之二的参赛者获奖。

美国知名葡萄酒演讲人和作家泰勒·科尔曼将作为嘉宾演讲人出席2009年1月27日在加州首府萨克拉门托市举行的第29届加州酿酒葡萄种植者协会年会。

泰勒·科尔曼是世界著名葡萄酒博客网站DrVino.com的主人，该博客网站曾经获得2007第一届美国葡萄酒博客比赛大奖，他毕业于美国东北大学，并获葡萄酒政治学博士学位。

目前泰勒·科尔曼任教于纽约大学和芝加哥大学，主要教授葡萄酒课程。

华盛顿州葡萄酒月今日拉开帷幕

美国“华盛顿州葡萄酒月”今日将拉开帷幕，2008“华盛顿州葡萄酒月”的主题是“华盛顿州葡萄酒---西北太平洋的的不同风味”，组织者是华盛顿州葡萄酒委员会，在葡萄酒月期间将举办主题为“华盛顿州--葡萄酒最佳气候”的葡萄酒零售商展览比赛以及第21届华盛顿州葡萄酒拍卖会，并有许多特殊价格的华盛顿州葡萄酒出售。

获得葡萄酒零售商展览比赛大奖者将免费去到华盛顿州葡萄酒乡度周末（包括VIP旅游以及品酒会），该奖品是由华盛顿州葡萄酒委员会提供赞助的。

第22届国际黑比诺庆典在俄勒冈州结束

第22届国际黑比诺庆祝大会近日在美国俄勒冈州McMinnville举行，本届大会为期三天（7月25日至27日），有数百人参加了本届大会，他们分别来自美国、法国以及新西兰等国家，会议内容主要有参观酒庄（两天半）、讨论会及品酒会。
